So, here we are again - its football time! And, tomorrow, I will say goodbye to "Coach" for at least the next 10 weeks (hopefully longer if we make the playoffs) as we travel to take on those "other" Yellow Jackets from my hometown and old high school rivals. I use the term "we" because I feel that I am part of the football family. After all, it is my bread and butter. I'm not saying that in a negative way, but I'm a football fan and I like to win! And it makes for a looonnnggg weekend when the Yellow Jackets AND the Auburn Tigers lose, but especially when the "Crimson Tide" gets the "W".
Some of you may be thinking that being married to a coach is a difficult job, or you may be thinking that its a breeze. Well, its both really, a little stressful along with a little excitement too! I actually enjoy being a coach's wife, my heart is in it and Coach is very passionate about his job and its just plain and simple that I just LOVE football!
In addition to football, there is also basketball, golf and summer workouts. So pretty much 12 months out of the year I live in a "coach's world" and it can be like an "athlete's locker-room" ....sometimes its stinks and sometimes it don't.
I hope you enjoy the journey from behind the bench and please overlook any grammatical errors. I'm just a plain ol' southern gal.
Enjoy!

Yay!! I think it's going to be great. I love reading blogs... it makes it easy to keep up with what's going on!
Can't wait for more to come...
Thank you! We'll see. LOL
I am so ready for football! Coach is going to have to get used to being surrounded by Bama fans, it seems! :)
